this past saturday, I came to the final conclusion that I had 2 females and 4 males. Sooooooo, I decided to repot my females, I figured it was still early enough and I have given them enough high phosphorus guano to handle the transplant. I went from 6" to 8" pots. Also I stapled a screen over the tops and was able to weave the tops in. I placed a resevoir in the box so I can over water my plants without worrying about getting my wires wet.

Yesterday, I started to adjust the weaving on one of the plants when it snapped. Oddly enough, the exact same thing happened on my first grow. After doing some thinking, I made a makeshift pot with a water bottle by cutting it in half, then I made some small holes in the cap. I took the bottom of the water bottle and I cut some holes in it, put the top part of the water bottle and stuck it in the bottom half, filled it with soil/perlite mix and planted the broken top in the soil after soaking it in superthrive. I placed the pot in the resevoir and filled it to a level that was a 1/2" above the overfill tray on the 8" pots, I busted out my air wand and my ole air pump and proceeded to place it around the water bottle so I'm running a hydro/soil setup now. Its gonna be a slow process to root the broken top, if it takes root at all. I know Its best to use some kind of rooting hormone, but I'm broke and I used this method once and it worked. I'll post pics later this week, since I dont want to jinx it. Now if this "clone" makes it, then I'll have a perfect candidate for a mother plant!!

I am not going to continue with the big fluorescent since I dont like the heat it creates, yes I said heat. I would rather go with the heat of the 150w hps and side tubes. :glugglug:
