Yeah, most cokeheads fuck people over. I have known several throughout the country and without exception, they are thieves and liars. You can consider it a big red flag if you meet someone who does that crap a lot.

Congratulations on getting a job! Make sure to save your money for a house, car and/or education. Don't go paying your friends' way just because you have money and they don't. Don't go buy stupid shit like jewelry, expensive clothes or CD's. You get the idea.

Okay, one more thing, and don't laugh because I'm totally fucking serious: set up a retirement account and make regular contributions to it. You sound young, so even if you put $50/month away now, you'll be a millionaire in no time. I fucked up and had the chance to do this. Now, retirement is MUCH closer and I don't have shit for it. So, I'm gonna work until I die. Shit... Even if you put $10 per paycheck aside, you'll have tons of cash set aside for retirement before you know it. Yet one more thing you can do to make your folks happy.
