Well, figure that $70 just paid for the best lesson of your life.

I agree 100% with you. If you want to help out a set of consumers, then grow/deal yourself and do it in an ethical manner. I don't deal anymore, but when I did I always dealt with everyone fairly: no short bags, consistently had supply, never required payment for weed before I went to get it, etc. As a result, I had a very good reputation as a dealer.

The biggest problem with the drug trade is that it's run by CRIMINALS! You don't see sales representatives from Merck of Pzifer having gunbattles in the street over who can sell Viagra.

I wish a trade guild of ethical drug dealers could be created to self-regulate the industry. But, due to the nature of the trade and the fact that it is overwhelmingly controlled by those who have no ethics, it is virtually impossible to organize. And, besides, since most drug dealers are criminals or just undisciplined, they wouldn't really want to have to abide by the guild's rules.

You have my moral support to start growing and dealing your own. A few tips:

-Establish a list of clients to whom you will deal. Only deal to them and no one else.
-Make sure your clients are trustworthy. If they screw you over, don't be afraid to dut them off. Make your clients aware up front that you are holding them to a certain level of trust and that you supply them at your leisure.
-Don't get greedy. Set the level you want to deal at and don't expand beyond it without SERIOUS thought. Examples include: size of grow, number of clients, expand product offering beyond weed,
-Be consistent. Always have product on hand. Always have the bags weigh the same- 7grams per quarter, 28grams per ounce. No more, no less.
-Charge prices that take the convenience you provide into consideration. If you are going to have 24/7 availability to your clients and you make it easy for them to score a bag, they should have to pay more. If they want to pay less, they can try Johnny-corner-dealer, who may give them a short bag or just fucking rob them instead. IOW, if they can score a bag from you within 60 minutes every time, they should pay more for that luxury.
-Don't front product, ever!

I could go on and on, but I really should get back to work.

Good luck!
