Yeah.. It's really my fault. It's common sense not to let a drug dealer in your house unless you really know em. I've known plenty of dealers who are great people and I let them inside and they never stolen from me. But Pedro kept telling me how cool and nice this guy was so I trusted him..
I should have been smart enough to know that Pedro isn't smart enough to know who to trust cause he a naive kid.
I even told myself "be careful man, this kid is young and naive, just cause he trusts him doesn't mean he can be trustworthy..." but I ignored myself.

I don't do any drugs except weed on the weekends including last weekend but I guess I shouldn't smoke at all after it's all over.

Yeah I shoulda gotten more info from him or something but I thought a cell phone number was enough. Just that cops don't want to trace it and if they do, they'll just bullshit and say it mgiht be a stolen phone which is what the first detective told me. (yeah like people would continue to pay bills to let a robber use their phone...).

I'm a pretty smart guy and I've lived in NY all my life.. but I get stupid sometimes. This is the very first time someone has commited a crime against me and the very first time I ever talked to the police.
I can promise that things will be different now and my experience has only made me stronger and I can at least help other people who are in need at the forums.
