Yeah man, I do that occasionally, it fucks you up really good. If I know what you're talking about... you take a hit, then you exhale a little bit, then you fill up your lungs again with oxygen, then you exhale a bit more, then you"top off" your lungs again, until all the smoke is completely out of your lungs. Is this what you mean?

I think you are just talking about essentially smoking more hits before pausing between hits. If so you are putting more THC into your system in a shorter time. Of course this will get you fucked up better faster. You could also be hyperventalating (too much oxegen), which can also make you feel fucked up, hence the success of oxygen bars.
