    spider mite?

So a few months back I recieved these clones from a dispencery they were having some problems that I thought was spider mites. Now I have never seen a mite on the plants. While researching about them I saw an illistration of an adult spider mite with eggs, and the eggs looked like little spheres but the drawing was in black and white. So any ways under my 30x magnifer I search all the leaves that were yellowing with spider mite looking pock marks and see these milky cloudy spheres which my 1st thought is spider mite eggs. So I treat the problem and all is well but I still check the plants and find these spheres even on completly healthy looking leaves no pock marks still to this day I have not been able to find a mite there is no web nothing not even the pock marks any more you think I just misdignosed the problem? Does any one have a 30x magnifer that could see if they have these spheres?

by the way I find these on the tops of leaves also and as far as I knew not even the adults will go on the tops of leaves during light periods cause it will burn them so why would the lay eggs there

sounds like it could be mites. You won't see webs until your garden is infested. Hard to tell w/o pix but if the leaves look stripped and yellowing and under leaves are either little white specks or black dots..they're mites. I've had mites for quite sometime now and have tried all means to get rid of them. Not easy my friend...not easy...I been stressing for somtime..

    spider mite?

I have no yellow no spots no adult mites that I can find just the spheres I think I have just been supressing them with the smc leaf wash so the population is small thats why I haven't seen any I did a google search and saw exactly whats on mine listed as eggs so i just ordered some avid next day air time to die.

the mites lay eggs and they molt. you may be looking at the molted shells.

do not take the mites lightly or think you won the war. they are resilent little fellas and can take your garden over..

    spider mite?

if you have spider mites you can treat the surrounding area's with a product called suspend SC look it up on the net,..mix .25oz w/ 1gallon of water and spray on soil lightly...it'll take about 1 week to knock them out but they will die...also you can look into a product called cb80, it contains Pyrethrems which will kill on contact... not sure if it's safe with mj but I spray it on nadle plum bushes etc, doesn't hurt those..just be careful...also soap and water will kill them (50/50) you really have to be careful. just read the label,..if you need any help w/ bugs message me..I'll help. peace out

You cannot kill all the mites AND the eggs.

If anyone tells you diff...they are telling a tale.

ONce they have established themselves to where the eggs are present, you have an infestation.

The tell tales signs are white spots on the leaves where the mites have sucked out the green.

It looks almost like salt speckles on the leaf.

You MUST hand wash each fricking leaf, one by one by one. Every four days.

They also live and breed on the soil surface and will hitch a ride in the slightest of wind or fan breezes. The fuckers suck ass but they are capable of ruining a grow in 30 days or less.

Use the air spray with pyrethrum to kill the surface mites, but then soap and water every 4 days on every leaf to kill all the fresh hatchlings.

TO date, there is no known killer of spider mite eggs...evern though people will say otherwise.

    It just doesnt exist.

You can use predator mites, but they take a loooooong time to eat and establish themselves and by the time they do, your fans are dead and so is the plant.

All you can hope to do is control them...and then smoke them : )

Spider mites suck. Never go to your plants after being around grass or plants outside. THats how they get in. They get on clothing, shoes, arms, hair, etc...

    It only takes one.

Neem oil is good, but buy the concentrate cuz you need a lot of it.

    spider mite?

well I sprayed everything with avid today in a concentraition of 10 drops per liter. I sprayed all my veg room my moms and new clones my flowering room is sealed off from everything else it is a sealed grow no intake or exhaust but just to be on the safe side I released 10,000 lady bugs I wouldn't use the avid on a flowering plant from what I read about it will make you pretty sick. I still have not been able to find any damage from them or any live mites so I am sure that the problem will be resolved quick since it never really took off in the 1st place thanks to the smc but the smc contained alot of canola oil which if used to much starts to burn stuff. I will never buy any clones from a club again the only reason I bought them was to save a week versus taking my own cuttings. Last time I bought some from a club they turned out male.
