    hydro problem

So I came home yesterday and discovered that one of my ladies is drooping like crazy. The leaves and stems are just like limp spaghetti. So after doing some research on here I figured it was overwatering. I immediatly put a sort of tip on the end of the hose to reduce the water flow from full blast to trickling out, hoiping it would dry out some of the roots and get some oxygen. The leaves are curling downward(up and down) and also curling inward(picture the individual fingers of the leaves curling into the center vein). Everything was going fine until just yesterday. This past weekend I was having issues with a small water pump and so I replaced it with a stronger one. I think this was sat. Anyway the nute levels havent changed and the only thing I did different was to add overdrive to the solution(dont worry I took this into account when figuring the ppm) and change out the water pumps. I am currently 6 weeks into flower but have had some issues with light leaks so its taking a little longer than anticipated to form the buds. The specs are: Recirculating system in a rubbermaid bucket with an air pump.
GH floranova series bloom with Carboload and big bud and overdrive. 400w hps with a hortilux bulb. I have had some major issues with this plant so if anyone has some free time to chat about some other stuff that is too long to type out then itd be much appreciated. I was considering purchasing a new air pump and adding some peroxide to the rez thinking that maybe it would help oxygenate the water but I have no clue if this will help. Please help I would hate to think I worked all this time just to lose this plant. Thanks for any replies

Well there is something seriously wrong if you have flowered for 6 wks and dont have bud sites. Not just your light leaks.

First of all flush your system for 24 hrs

Drop ppm by 100-200 when you add your new solution

Make sure your ph is 5.5-5.8, check often

Add another airstone in there aswell.

BTW light stress and just stress on a the plant in general are a factor in hermies. Watch out for some nuts hangin.

    Good Luck

    hydro problem

Sorry for the confusion, I do have bud site, white hairs everywhere, but I have a second lady that has been on 12/12 for about 3 weeks and it has already caught up to the other one, in terms of white hairs. One of the probs Im having is that the damn thing wont stop growing lol. It has burned itself several times and still no stopping. I have bent and tied almost everything at least twice because I have no more room for space. I was hoping when it was 12/12 that it would stop growing leaves and start focusing on the bud but I dont know. Again this plant has been problematic ever since I put it on 12/12. I turned off the water pump tonight to see if that helps. I have a fan on the way so I can make a cool tube but it hasnt come yet. I may be able to get some pics up and then maybe you guys could get a better idea of what im dealing with. If things dont seem to improve by tommorow Im going to flush and drop the ppm like you said. Do you think H2o2 can help? Thanks Snoop!!

    If you're overwatering, just stop.

If it's a nute problem, flush, flush flush, then start with 1/4 strength nutes and build up.

if your leaves are curling and twisting...that is ph...

and opie is right...If you ever feel like you are over watering. STOP!

You said you are using big bud and overdrive...I hope you are not using them together. they are meant to be used consecutively...goodluck

It sounds like your strain is sativa dominant. I have overgrown several sativas because they strech so damn long when put on 12/12. Eventally they will stop streaching. Stressing them will also delay harvest. Just be patient and get her back on track. Then just keep optimal conditions for as long as she needs to go.

Ok, so i got home and the plant is way worse. The leaves are fully drooping and have started to turn a light green/yellow. I am going to the store to buy so DI water and change the nute solution to nothing but superthrive and calmag plus. I dont know if its gonna live for the next couple days. Also I noticed that my current nute solution in the tub smells horrible. Dont know if I have bad root rot or what. Does anyone know how much H2O2 to the rez? Any other ideas? Thanks for all the help but I dont know if this one is going to make it.

LW- I grew 1 seroius Cronic a couple years back. I ended up flowering it alone under a 1000 watt. When she went in at 15" and in the 4th wk she was 4 1/2 ft with budsites just forming. In the 7th wk she was 5 1/2 ft then She was tied down. She went 12 wks lol. She yeilded 1 1/2 lbs.
BTW- I did not top her once. (should have)

    Jdzzl03:
Check your roots out and see if they are brown and slimey. They might be a slight brown but that can be nutes or build up. If they are slimey then that is a sure sign of pythium infection. It is caused by low Dissolved Oxegen (DO) levels and also unsterile equiptment. Add as much air in your res as possible and add H202 like this.

For severe problem (pythium/root rot) for 1 gal.
    24 hour flush
    3%-12 ml
    17.5%-2 ml
    35%-20 drops 1ml

Now add a very weak nute solution w/
    3%-11ml
    17.5%-2ml
    35%-16 drops

Up your res changes to 3 days slowly increasing ppm.

    Daily topping-
    3%-5.5 ml
    17.5%-18 drops
    35%-9 drops

Also do you know your res temps?
The lower your res temps, the higher the DO. But..you want temps at 68 (optimal) so growth does not slow. Keep it under 70 no matter what.
