    RLS - Restless Legs Syndrome

A question I've been meaning to ask of my fellow smokers: Have you ever experienced Restless Legs Syndrome? Particuarly after you've quit smoking?

For those who don't know, Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) is a condition that strikes when you're trying to go to sleep. Basically, as you fall asleep, your muscles spasm. It produces a pain that doesn't really hurt, but is VERY annoying and prevents you from falling asleep.

A couple of times when I have stopped smoking, I have experienced this. The worst was the first time it happened. I couldn't sleep all week. I was taking Advil, Tylenol PM, etc. The pain just wouldn't stop. Finally, after a week of getting about 2 hours of sleep (that's 2 hours ALL WEEK) it subsided. So I've always wondered if other herb smokers get it?

I guess it could be your body telling you that it misses your daily toke and is telling you to get up and do something about it.

I get it when Im anxious to do something or VERY excited, not sexually because thats another "apendage" that spasms. Its kinda cool though, at least if Ive had what your talking about where your legs get really tight, and it feels like just MASSIVE energy going through your legs. Right?

    RLS - Restless Legs Syndrome

I smoked heavily this passed weekend, usually a quad a day, as I usually do on weekends, breaks, summer, etc... I had also had weed the entire week preceding the weekend. Sunday night, I didn't go to bed high, as I had for the week before. I could NOT get to sleep. It was my legs, it was everything. I just couldn't get comfortable. I'd try my hardest to get to sleep but I couldn't. In the morning I was so tired, that I had my mom call me in sick. I still couldn't get to sleep until about 9AM when my body absolutely needed sleep. When I woke up I still didn't feel refreshed, but when I tried going to bed on Monday night, the same thing. I didn't get any sleep. So, I didn't go to school on Tuesday either. I still couldn't get to sleep until 4AM on Tuesday night, but I still went to school anyway. Finally on Wednesday I got some bud, and got tired at a normal time, and had a good nights rest. I also am high right now, and getting tired.
I hate being without pot, as I can't sleep!
[align=center]Cannabis has done nothing but help myself and others I know. It is a beneficial plant. Anyone who thinks otherwise is ignorant and/or brainwashed. It should not be illegal anywhere in the world.

    RLS - Restless Legs Syndrome

Usually when I quit smoking, I can't fall asleep that first evening without having smoked. But this goes beyond not being able to fall asleep. Basically, your body is tired and you're ready to fall asleep, but just as you do, these tingly pains start working through your muscles.

It hasn't happened to me recently, and I've been smoking and resting off and on for the past few months. But the times it did happen, it was always after I smoked. For a while, I thought I'd have to smoke the rest of my life to not go through that. Luckily, that isn't the case.

Nah, I think that problem is related to something else or somethin cuz that never happened to me.
