Not about driving but something you can compare.

When I was a beginner, I would never DARE go outside when I toked up. I thought I would act too stupid and get caught. I thought it was a loser thing to do even.
Then I just got used to it and went outside months later and was able to handle everything.

But this ONE time, after over a full year of smoking or two. I took only a SINGLE hit of this super strong weed my friend had and it was really strong and I mean STRONG! I really couldn't go outside, but my friend was getting annoyed. He didn't smoke so he couldn't understand. I didn't wanna wuss out.. so I went with him 10 blocks to a guitar store. Damn it was a bitch. I tried not to crack up in public and it was evening too. Lots of people in the daylight. Then I almost got ran over by crossing a street with a red light sign (ny manhattan).
Luckily my friend took out his arm and blocked me from crossing. I was real careful about crossing the street after he did that though cause I embarrassed myself doing that. So it never happened again. For every don't walk sign that appeared, I was a careful bitch.

When we finally got to the guitar store, there was this one section I loved that was heaven. This dark room that was filled with rows of beautiful guitars. I didn't wanna leave lol!

"Dude.. I know I'm just baked and all, but I just had to say that this room is really beautiful right now with all these guitars neatly lined up in this neat little atmosphere." lol.

But really, the moral is: Don't smoke high grades and drive. I only forgot to check the don't walk sign ONCE and if I was alone, I would have been hurt.. it takes only one time to make that one small mistake that could ruin everything.

If I were to smoke a full dime of mids, it would have been nothing. I smoked a full dime of mids before and was able to cross streets easily,
but that was just a single hit of some super weed I had when I had to walk with my friend and I almost got ran over.
Amsterdam has that 'smoke in the privacy of your home' rule for a reason. Be smart, be safe.

I'm glad my best friend is a smart kid who acted as a great sitter for me. If you are too high, make sure you have a sober (enough) friend with you to help you out like my friend. And I don't mean young dumbass kids who will forget about you and chat with the cute girl nearby and let you get run over.
Jesus, I have way too much to lose and it all could have been lost when that fast car nearly hit me.
Once again. BE SMART AND BE SAFE! Better safer than sorry.
Don't drive if you are too high.
