We eat too much.
We are robbing people of food, food which belongs to everyone, but somehow people have the impression that they can grow things on the earth's soil, THE EARTH which does not belong to them... and then sell it?? IT MAKES NO SENSE. And then we go to buffets and stuff our faces and are so full we throw up in the washrooms and come back for more. Imagine if we only ate enough food to sustain a healthy body. Imagine people didn't eat just for the pleasure of their tongues. WE WOULD END WORLD HUNGER. (and obesity) I have the solutions for world peace but nobody will listen to me.

Food is abundent. It isn't easy as changing our eating habits that will cause other people in the world not to starve.

We could send all the food we want. Not all of it is going to get there. Someone will confiscate the food supply. Bringing food to poor nations with militant factions or armies is not cheap for that reason. Same applies if they try to farm.
