American Idol is one of the largest symbols of the shit society is becoming. Nobody in the right mind should support the manufactured hysteria, the falsely placed importance, the sick and artificial culture things like this show are creating. I ask everybody to at least consider the shallow, souless human beings this is turning everybody into.

Mandeesa got robbed in a way but......country wasn't her high point. She did have the best voice though.....

I couldn't disagree more, MrDevious. This show is full of talented people trying to reach their full potential. The show can be very uplifting, and it brings families together. In my family for instance, we gather 'round every Tuesday and laugh and critique each performance. It is a nice way to escape from the harsh realities of school and work and have a little leisure time. I really don't understand how this show has falsely placed importance. I love the show, but my world doesn't revolve around it, nor do I look up to the contestants on the show. All the show does is entertain a large number of people, and I don't get why you have a problem with that. And besides, it's fun to skank around the house to Taylor.

That's why I don't listen to rap. It's not the words that I listen to, just the melody. And, most of the time, what people say goes in one ear and out the other, anyway.

No, I fuckin hate that show and I fuckin hate Simon..the only time I watch it is when they are recruiting people or w/e...some of the acts people put on are hillarious. Some times they are so outrageous I think they actually paid those people just to do the shit because it's so insane.
