soil growing - use a pan instead of a pot?

I put the scrog under the 150 on the top right soon to be 250. Thats a 400 on the left. It's a C-22 but the newer one.lol:rasta:

bostrom155 Reviewed by bostrom155 on 05-18-2006. soil growing - use a pan instead of a pot? hi, i read somewhere that i can use a 6 inch deep tray/pan to grow in soil instead of a pot...the reason behind this is you can decrease the vertical height of a stealth box this way. the roots grow outwards...can anyone verify this? i don't want to start only to find that this doesn't work or whatever...thanks! i had 6inch tall plants in 4inch pots,2inchs styrofoam,on bottom,a couple inches prefert. soil on top,usin 7.4 water ph,no problems plants very healthy,not just green and growin slowly either.then moved to larger pots. peaced buthead bros./zzzzzzzzzzz
