Carbon Tea Bag idea

I had an idea for odor control, at least it felt like an idea

My closet ceiling goes right up into the attic. I was thinking that If I had sort of small register going to the attic and mounted below the register have a plasic strainer. Sort of like those little sand strainers that come with a kids sand bucket. In this I would make tea bag sort of things out of dryer sheets and carbon that you get for fish. Below that would be a small fan pulling the air out of the closet and blowing it through the stainer and tea bags into the attic.

Silly idea? I have to try it cause I know it will be better then what I have now for odor control which is nothing.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Should work pretty well.

It should work just fine. Make sure that all the air must go through the carbon and not leak by the sides.
