Outdoor dirt from ground
The quality of most topsoil isn't very good. When you buy soil, it has ammendments that assist in holding moisture while still aerating the roots. Often times there compost added, too. So in other words, you know you're getting decent soil if you buy it, you don't have any idea if you just dig it up.
mountainman Reviewed by mountainman on . Outdoor dirt from ground What are the reasons for not using dug up dirt from your yard on your plant when planting it. I know that soil is way better to use, but would like to know what would happen if I didn't and just planted it in the ground itself. Rating: 5
