Problems days after a marijuana experience.

Okay. Saturday my friend and I used a lot of marijuana. (More than I've ever used in a day.) Now, I guess you could say I'm a beginner smoker, as I've only been smoking heavily the last few months. At the time I hadn't smoked in about two weeks. So now, it's Tuesday.

My problems started Saturday night. My parents came and picked me up, and we went to a resteraunt for mother's day. At the resteraunt, we had to wait in the lobby because it was full, and I had been coming down from my high, but all of a sudden, I started freaking out. I felt so abnormal, and out of my mind. These feeling got much worse as the time in the resteraunt went on. My parents didn't know I was high (of course) and I had developed a stomach ache. (Don't know what from.) So, I told my parents I felt sick and couldn't eat. I think I was having a panic attack by the time I got to the car...but as the night went on I got better, but I still felt a little abnormal.

So Sunday, I was fine from the time I woke up (about 9:30 AM) to the time we went out with the rest of my family for mother's day (again, haha), but at the resteraunt I started feeling a little high, and insane, just out of my head...almost like a panic attack, but I didn't let it show.

But I'm not going to drag this on anymore, but I've felt completely abnormal ever since the first panic attack, and I seriously think something might be mentally wrong with me, but the reasong I came here was to ask if this was normal a few days after smoking heavy amounts of marijuana, or should I see a doctor...?

*Note I used to have panic attacks as a child, but how I've been feeling is nothing like those, it's just an abnormal feeling, like I'm not myself, and I can't focus, and I can't think straight, and still actually feel kind of high at times...I'm sorry if this is messy, but I'm typing it in kind of a hurry.

if you have a history of panic attacks thats why you are getting them. doesnt mean the weed did it tho. it could be other things that you dont realize.

I'd recommend you have another toke, but only a light dose this time, might set you back to normal.

Very good point about the panic attacks, and someone else told me to try smoking again, so I dunno, if I don't get better soon I may try that.

sounds like a mild form of PTSD... if the dose of pot you took was so hight, and you had a panic attack that was really bad and scary, your mind will remember that, and you'll feel high... used to happen to me the first few times I smoked, before I knew my limits. Smoke a cigarette to calm down (it helped me), but I'd definately smoke a small amount of pot, and enjoy the high. That way, when your mind thinks of marijuana, it will remember the most recent good experience, than the bad one.
Good luck, and I hope you get better.

clearly just need to keep smoking guy. ive never had a panic attack or any kind of bad high off weed myself but i can understand how they happen i guess. personally i think you need to just smoke whatever you normally smoke and dont worry about it. Weed shouldnt give you too many problems, shes friendly.

No problem man. My first experience was a disaster. I felt "high" MONTHS after smoking, and swore never to smoke again. It would happen at random times, and I'd have severe anxiety, of course I never told the therapist that I'd smoke, tey just figured I was having panic attacks, but I knew after researching that it was Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. They gave me Paxil 3 years ago, and I'm still on it. I just started smoking heavily in February. I doubt I still have the PTSD, since now I can enjoy marijuana. In the past, the near mention of marijuana would make me feel high and scared. I'm glad I'm over that point in my life. Why am I still on Paxil then? because I've had alot of deaths in my family, and I hate the condition of the world, and it's so depressing how we are being lied to, that without Paxil, I'd just cry everyday over the condition of the world. Actually, I dont' know why I'm still on paxil, I guess I'm afraid that the panic attacks will return...
But I'm glad I helped, and I'm sure everyting will be okay. Now you know not to smoke that much, but even if you do, it won't be as bad. Maybe a little scary at first, but you'll get used to it, as your mind will just remind you that you just had a big dose, then just calm down, and you'll be fine.
    Best of luck,

I had the feeling of being stoned for like two days once before, quite recently actually after an evening with 2 tulips and a three-tipper F (lol thats what I call it in dutch, drie-tipper F, a joint with 3 roaches and three king size rolling papers). I thought it was actually quite relaxing, I figure I could live my life like that, though not here in the busy city I'm in and all that sucks. I'd like to live oin a farm and smoke weed all day, and then race my tractor or off-road car and make huge stunts
