Advice: First time trying shrooms

My buddy got some shrooms and we're going to do them together. I want to experience it, but I'm am nervous.

Will this nervousness translate into a bad trip? I'm not like horribly scared, but it's sort of like going on a huge roller coaster.


A few questions. He has an eighth. It's going to probably be between me and him, but a third person may join us too. Is dividng them up among 2 people too much? Is dividng them among 3 too little?

Should I eat before hand?

Would it be best to do them outside or inside?

Any other advice that you have! I understand that these are powerful substances, and I want to be mentally (and otherwise) prepared for the experience.

You should eat at least 1/2 eigth by yourself, preferably an eigth for a good trip.

an eighth of what? 1/8 gram? 1/8 lbs?

Nervousness doesn't usually affect the trip, just as long as you don't convince yourself that you just a poison mushrooms and are going to die...

You won't get many visuals with half and eighth, but the body high will be strong.

Let me note that it's my first time doing anything besides pot (and legal drugs). The visual elements sound most interesting to me. I didn't want to exceed taking 2 grams. half an E is like what? 1.75 grams? I thought that'd be plenty.... hmm.

Well whatever, better to take too little than too much, eh?


And if you havent already figured it out, yeah, 1/8 of an ounce.

Lets just say it's an aquired taste. You want to take at least half the eigth, all of it would be better. Don't worry, bad trips are far less common than most people think.

People I know told me they taste like shit, but I actually kind of liked the taste. It tasted "Earth-like", thats the best I can describe it. Drink orange and lemon juice (lemon juice has a high acidic level)
