Weird Pot

K I got some pot from an acquaitance and its red. Like the bud isnt red but its coated. Me and my buddy figure that its coated in cherry oil, cuz it smells and tastes like cherries. But it also, on your tonge it tingles, not like numbs it but it makes it tingle. Anyone know what the tingleing is. I havent done it yet but my buddy is going to do a little to night to test it.
