peyote?

Ok, so Ive been clean for a while now, just lighting up a joint every week or so. My parents left town the other day so I was alone and decide to call some of my friends to come over. So out of the blue one of my friends says that he got some kind of mescline from this guy he knew and asked if we wanted to try some because he wanted to do it and didnt want to be the only one tripping. The hardest pychadelic experience ive ever had was when I downed 1 1/2 bottles of cough syrup and even then it wasn't that exciting. So he breaks out a bag with this dry green shit all along the bottom. I'm not sure how much I took but all I know is we divided it among 3 people evenly and there were 5 people at my house. I put it in a glass of water, mix up, and drink. Now the thing is, it took a while for it to work. I had almost forgotten I'd taken it but about an hour later I started to feel it creaping on. Everything started to get, well, funny. I started seeing trail and everything kind of slowed down. I was sitting on the couch watching T.V. when It started to really kick in. I couldnt bear to watch the tv and the room was starting to get wobbly. I remember hearing one of my friends say we should go outside but I couldnt get off the couch. By this point I started hearing these sythisizer sounds going off in my head like from "Any Colour you like" by pink floyd. Then I think everyone left and I was stuck on the couch with this girl I'm friends with (she hadnt taken any) and I sat and talked with her for pretty much the rest of the trip. I remember getting remeber getting really emotional and telling her that I loved her, and then I felt bad because for a while I thought she was my sister. I made her walk me outside to where the rest of my friends were because I thought the girl from the ring was going to come out of my tv and kill me. Thats the only time I think I've ever really freaked out on drugs. But it got better when I went outside. I lay down on the grass where my friends were and smoked a joint to help me clam down. It was then that the fireworks really started. I started having these really wierd thoughts. For a second, I thought I could actually see myself as if I was looking down on myself. It was really cool. I remember feeling like the ground had swalllowed me up but it was a good feeling because I was one with the earth. Great trip. Anyway, Ive told a few people about it they say that they dont think it was peyote. A few people ive talked to say that it was probably just dried shrooms but I'm not sure. so from what youve read, what do you think?

Ive never seen green shrooms dude
sounds like it could very well have been peyote to me

Thats what I though too but it was more of a brownish green, like the color of really shitty weed.

if it tasted shitty it was prolly peyote

I didnt know how it would taste so I plugged my nose and chugged it so I wouldnt gag. But yea, it did have a funky aftertaste.

Did it look like the picture I attached? If so it was peyote, your lucky..I always wanted to try it lol.

Yea, it was the same color except all ground up. But the high wasnt as intesely trippy as I had thought (except for the wierd synth noises I kept hearing and sometimes things would get wobbly.
). Very introspective.
