spray to keep plants short & stocky

Im from Bay area..My brother claims he has a product he purchased from seattle that is used to keep plants at wateva height you want it. So he says he sprays at the end of veg. as soon as flowers begin to appear. Great for sativas. He also says this batch is better than any other batch he's ever grown and he's grown for a while. I'll check it out after he tells me how much he yielded. I have to see to believe...anyones heard of something like this?

or buy some twist-ties and bend them over, growth inhibitors I've seen hurt the plant more than help them, but you can make them with some "creative chemistry". I've myself used silver nitrate on many occasions over many years to help with regeneration, also acts as a growth inhibitor, it does stop the plants vertical growth, your brothers trick seems like a gimmick to me, just let them grow I say.

I hear ya 4x5.. He swears on it but I'm still quite skeptical about such a product. I guess I'll just let nature take its course unless someone can prove me otherwise.

One more thing. Not only is he claiming that it keeps it from growing any taller but he also says it flowers earlier besides the fact that its bigger, healthier etc. and yes I have tied and bend them over in the past but its a hassle when you have alot of plants..

in the uk a few years ago a product called super bud came on the market,it keep's the plant at the height you want,it also made the bud really solid and large, unfortunately it smoked like shit and tasted like copper(if you ever put a penny in ur mouth ull know what i mean),it also gave a banging headache,i have since found out it is a product called COULTARD (i think its spelt like that) its also very dangerous to humans if not flushed out properly,it takes 12 weeks to flush this product so most weed plant's are out of the question, unless you go way over time with them, its actually used in comercial apple growing to keep the apples uniform in size, products like this should be left on the shelves where they belong. just my opinion

I like the taste of pennies. Not worth the headaches, though.

Well ,it might be some form of alcohol. It was resently discovered that alcohol fed to your plants make them stop growing taller and focus the energy on the flower growth.

Well Gee, I think that explains why alot of the BC stuff taste like crap, maybe cuz theyre using that product you just mentioned, and now this so called magic potion is being passed down to seattle residents. Hope it doesn't go south my way!! I guess I'll wait and see when his crop is done..give it a test whirl!!
