    Domestic Violence

I saw a man beat his girlfriend VERY badly the other night, and I can't get it out of my mind. Her eye swelled up to the size of a tennis ball, and she had to get several stitches.

I wanted to beat the guy to a pulp, but I did nothing! I guess because she keeps going back to him. (He's beat her on numerous occasions) Why do woman do stay with extemely violent men? I don't understand it! To tell you the truth, I'm on the verge of taking a baseball bat to this guys head.

She's not a close friend, but a friend just the same, and doesn't deserve to be beat down like she was...

    Fucked up sh!t, man!

    Domestic Violence

Some women feel this need to nurture everything that they come into contact with. What they're really attracted to is people who are in dire need of their attention. Hence, women go after bad boys.

I think it's psychological, too. I mean, it has to be similar to Stockholm syndrome.

They can be really nice people and the good times cover the bad,you could of beaten him but I dont think it would of helped or changed anything because victims dont usually leave until there are not enough good times to cover the bad.I feel sorry for children who have to see this and if I had children one bad time would be enough for me to go.I really hope your friend sees sense before it's too late.

There's too many people out there that give women a bad name. Why the hell women think they love these bastards is far beyond my knowledge. They're getting nowhere in life. They need to wise up and realize this.

I would love to catch that punk hitting his women, wouldent be too good for him. If they have kids thats even worse i grew up with my dad beating my mom and no kid should have to go through that.

No they stay with them because they dont have it in them to leave, they dont have any self confidence....

Theres only one thing you can do to stop a wifebeater... Kill him

Unless your going to do that then there is nothing that you can do if you threaten him, beat him up, put him in hospital, break his bones he will just take it out on her even worse.

If you piss a wifebeater of he will just go home and take it all out on her which just makes it worse.

Women are afraid to tell anyone in fear of gettin hit more, and they are afrid to do anything, the last thing they will do is leave because they are too scared.

I think this is right. I guess you need to talk to your friend, and leave the bloke alone. See if you can help support her, and raise her self-confidence, because she needs to leave him, and it's gonna take a lot for her to do it by herself.

    Howdy JunkYard,

It's called Battered women's syndrome..also,even if you came to her defense,it's highly likely that she will then come to her boyfriend's defense, which is why domestic violence situations are one of the most dangerous situations that a cop can respond to.

You should report what you saw to the cops, because they are qualified to handle the situation and you are not.

How will you feel,if you hear that he finally beat her to death, and you did nothing ? Evil thrives when good men look away..stop looking the other way !

    Have a good one !
