Where's your spirit at?
I don't think it's impossible to find spirituality in city life, but I do think that it's harder and so many people can't be bothered any more. We all seem to want faster, bigger, more expensive that we've forgotten the kind of satisfaction that would come with a more provincial existence. Then again, how do you think we've got where we are? The farmers and hunters thought their life was too tough and started inventing things to make it easier. I doubt I could feel any more spiritual on a modern farm with all the high tech equipment they now have than I do here, in the middle of a city. There's no way to go back, sadly, although it would be interesting to try to live off the land for a while.

Where's your spirit at? *Moderators, I ask you please not to replace this thread for my logic cannot be generalized into any of the subcategories.* In this day and age we inhabit a world/culture influenced by technological advancements. In the information age, it would seem befitting, much less ironic that the human being is as stupid as ever. Not necessarily stupid, but definitely less experienced. Technology is detrimental to future generations, before you know it our race will become inferior to who knows what! Rating: 5
