    Where to start?

Apologies if I'm repeating a thread here but I didn't see anything that helped me.

I was wondering if anyone has a link to a concise article about growing your own? I'm obviously starting out so just banging a few seeds in some soil, maybe a few pointers is all I need for now....

1st question I gotta ask is can you use the seeds that you find in your stash when you buy weed? or do you have to get seeds especially for growing?

TIA for all links, articles and posts.

This belongs in the Basic growing section.

Sure bag seed is fine to use. It's better to use bag seed before you spend good money on seeds you may kill while you are learning how to sprout them and grow.
