Whats up? i'm new to cannabis.com and this is my first attempt at growing hydro, i've had much success with soil groth and decided it was time for something new.almost have my grow tent set up the light is comming this week!!! and boy do i need it been using a 25w full spectrum light, for about a week and the girls just got transplanted into a permanant medium... hope all goes well... any advice would be appreciated. there are 2 more plants per container now and this pic is shown without the mylar cover for the tent.

ok, here are some more pics..... and i guess my bull dog wanted to make a cameo... these are all swagg in a bag seeds but it was excellent smoke so i think with my tlc they will be hearty buds. will get some more pics up when i get my new HPS/MH installed and the mylar cover on the tent, i plan to eliminate heat issues with a vent hooked into my centeral heat and air system, and in case you were wondering this is in my basement. ph level is at 5.6 and water temp is @ 85 due to the pump running 24/7 temp at the plants is around 76 stays there all the time accept during the heat of the day when it climbs to about 78-80.

congrats, what kind of light are you gonna use, and how much heat will it be putting out?

Its a 1000watt ballast, and i ordered 2 bulbs one MH/ and one HPS, figure ill ues the MH for vegg, and the HPS for flowering, not sure on the heat but i am growing in my basement and it stays cool down there all the time and if i do have heat issues i saw an idea i liked on here where a kat tapped into on of his centeral heat and air ducts in his basement and i fugre it worked for him it will work for me.

specs on the grow tent... its a 25cu ft. grow space (Has a mylar cover but not pictured, better for the pics), light now is 25w full spec.(new light is a 1000w hps/mh) grow medium is pea gravel, ph is at 5.6, temp is about 76 at plant level, water temp is about 80deg.,pump light and fan stay on 27/7 right now, when i get the new light it will go to 18/6

You'll need ventilation in your grow tent. a 1000 watt lamp produces 3000 btu of heat. You will need to get that heat OUT, at least out of the tent. Once you start flowering, you will also need something to control smell.

smell i plan to combat with the infamous "dryer sheets" in the air vents in my house placed at the vent outlets since there will be a direct tap off of a centeral heat/air duct. if air is flowing into the tent from the c/h/ac it will not affect the grow area. only the vents into the house will be affected by the fresh smell of me choice dryer sheets.
