yes, males will get branches but usually takes longer than females. they tend to grow faster at first with longer spaces between nodes and a lankier look, in general...and the key word is "tend" as in usually but not always.

Del.. is right.
The males are useless unless you want seeds from your plants.
Otherwise kill them.
And also, del... is extrmely right about "tend". I had 2 lowryders growing, and the most compact plant, about 1 inch, yes, just one inch was male [They flower auto]
