perculated bongs and bubs?

ok turns out, the idea of what i thought "perc" meant when people were talking about double perc bongs and shit was completely wrong. i do not get how these work at all, can someone please explain how perulators work and have a picture or something. thanks.:smokin:

as far as i know, percolated means the down pipe of the bong has little holes so it filters better.

Its like a screen at the bottom of the downstem that brakes the smoke up into smaller bubbles which then filters the smoke better. There really sweet i wish i had one.

A perc is another water chamber in the downtube of the bong. It adds to the cooling/filtering. What those guys are talking about is a diffusing downstem.

o yeah i forgot, i read the guys post above mine and got confused, this guy is right type it into the search to see a pic.

ok a diffuser is holes in teh downstem which makes bubbles smaller. and an ashcatcher is like a bub attatched to ur bowl. but i still dont get what a double perc bong is or whatever. you see pictures and halfway up the chamber theres a little bubble type thing...is that it?
