My Grow Room/Plants Feedback Wanted
Here are some pictures of my grow room and my four plants. The plant to the far right of the pictures was planted on 4/27, and the other three were planted three days latter on 4/30. For the first week and a half or so I had one (I don't know how many watts it is, but it's suppose to be equalivalent to a regular 100 watt bulb) CFL on them (the one on the far right in the black lamp), and then I got the long hood lamp at a garage sale for a buck. Then today I just put two more CFLs in there. The on in the middle is a 40 watt 200 watt equalivalent bulb that puts out 2600 lumens, and the one on the far right is a 13 watt 60 watt equalivalent I believe, and it puts 800 lumens. All the lights are on a 24/7 cycle, and I water them about once a day, or if the soil looks and feels dry, and I give them a little spray with water about twice a day, so the leaves don't burn.
Please give me some tips or other feedback to help make this grow go well for me. I also want to know a rough estiment on how much I might be looking to yeld. Well you say that you give it a mist every day so the leaves wont burn.
Well they will burn if you spray them!
You should NEVER get the leaves moist when the lights are on them, cos the light will burn a hole right though them.
Up 2 u if you spray them, but they wont burn, so theres no need, but if you must, put your cycle on 18/6 so you can do it in the dark cycle.
And is that fan actually moving the plants?
You need one to blow gently on them to do the stems. Looks like that one is just cooling the lights

Yup get a fan blowing on low power constantly. Simulates wind and will make them strong.

the fan is doing both, it cools the lights and it blows on the plants

But its pointing straight up in the air.
Heres my 2 cents and possibly a few pointers.
Personally I hate potting more then one plant per pot... or container. the roots will bind together and stuff will just go down hill from there.

the fan is not the issue here , too many plants in that container is 1 issue , the container is another , it has transparent sides and ur roots don't like light at all , this will slow down ur growth . also the tin foil that u have use as a reflector will probably burn if hit with a naked flame. if u ask me and i don't want to sound rude but ur going to have to rethink ur grow setup. compact floros i am not a lover of, 3 or 4, 4 foot floros will give u better coverage of light and the holders for these are cheap and easy to pick up. heat of floros is not a problem , i keep my floros about an inch away from my plants and what it does do it promotes good secondary grow, from what i can see ur fan is fine where it is at

get em into individual pots. Get mylar or lighting 97%. instead of tin foil. fan looks good as long as all those little leaves are moving around. u will have to raise fan as plants grow though...
or get two. one for undergrowth and one for top growth.

Yeah, i didnt say anything about the pots or foil.
The foil is a waste of time, it abosrbs light, doesnt reflect.
The plants will get mighty unhappy being in the same pot, and i doubt theres enough room in the pot anyway.
About the lgihts on the roots. This isnt proved, no one knows, some say its ok, some say its not, i personally think its bad. Naturaly they wouldnt get any light, so that my resaoning.

roots hate light they will die in that transparent tub ,roots hate light this is a proven fact if it was not why dont we get transparent plant pots its a big no no. so im with u hal. also if you dont get them into seperate pots the roots will tangle then your grow will be a waste if time its all in the end product thats were the strenth of the grower comes into play ,anyway its your first grow and its all about learning just listen to the growers on heere they will keep you right.the postman.
