    My Grow Room/Plants Feedback Wanted

I've burnt my plants from misting and have seen others do it as well, but if you can do it without problems and it works for you, do it!
The Grim Reefer Reviewed by The Grim Reefer on . My Grow Room/Plants Feedback Wanted Here are some pictures of my grow room and my four plants. The plant to the far right of the pictures was planted on 4/27, and the other three were planted three days latter on 4/30. For the first week and a half or so I had one (I don't know how many watts it is, but it's suppose to be equalivalent to a regular 100 watt bulb) CFL on them (the one on the far right in the black lamp), and then I got the long hood lamp at a garage sale for a buck. Then today I just put two more CFLs in there. The Rating: 5

Yeah, hey, I'm just sorta fascinated to read GK saying not to mist...I've heard others say it here and there, but I have such good results from it and have never really disagreed with anything GK has ever suggested.

Not disputing your results, but my girls have always thrived from it from seedling to mid-flower.

while you guys may be right about roots hating light,
even though the outer edge will let light in that light wont go very far though the dirt.
    and on to the misting,
it may be good for humidity but theres other ways for that. cannabis leaves dont take in nutes through the leaves I am sorry to say, they only transpire through the bottom of leaves.
misting can work for clones in a humidity dome but the better way is to stop them from transpiring

its not only that roots dont like light.. cause I have seen great grows with roots exposed to lights.. BUT soil that is exposed to light can grow all sorts of funky shit in it that can and will lead to root rot and bugs and worst of all...

yep....Misting just ups your chances of the big buds growing mold.
So after months of work. The last thing I would want to do is make my buds mold.During veg spraying is fine. Spraying the buds is what is a no no. That is,if you don't have to(bugs make you spray your buds)Lots of ventalation is needed for this.

you are prolly right there knowm but I also have proof roots are ok with light.....
did you ever do clones in a bottle on the windowsill???? yup light gets to the roots for sure that way and the plant wont die because of it. just because roots arent naturally exposed to light doesnt mean light will kill them

Well, I transplanted them as you can see by the pictures, and I've stoped misting them. I think I might of damaged one of the plants during the transplant (the one second from the right). Hopefully they'll all survive.
When do I turn the lights to 12/12?

Gotcha. I don't mist once buds start clumping for the same mold paranoia reasons. I also have four fans in a 5x5x4ish space, so I'm often in a fight to raise humidity as I try to keep the canopy temp reasonable. Mold isn't really much of an issue in a wind tunnel.

My balls are a little sensitive to busting because Harddon recently sent me in a new direction with a feeding mixture that is an unknown to me.

I've been feeding my girls Jack Daniels and ammonia, among other things.

It worries me, but I trust the mind of HD and don't question it.

    Okay, sorry, enough hijacking.

    peace
