Ok so I was just wondering how many people would claim themselves to one of these titles. Me myself am a stoner which I believe is someone who smokes weed alot, but also makes moderate grades and dosent dedicate there whole lives to weed. A pothead on the other hand is someone who pretty much "stays high till the day they die." Someone who dosent care about school or the quality of there jobs. As pink floyd said "teachers, leave those kids alone. All in all were just another brick in the wall."

Well, seeing that I have multiple incurable injuries, I'd be a pothead, to you. The first part. But school took a backseat to organized Baseball because my grades were good enough to get me into college, but Baseball gave me scholarship money.

When that song came out, I was really young and my Brother had it on "45". It's one of the first songs in my memory.

As for the name calling, Stoner and Pothead have been proven, recently, to be positive.

But, a stoner could be involved in other drugs, also. A pothead would, probably, be more specific.

I'd say it was almost the reverse of what was originally said... Pothead is someone who uses pot regularly, and is a part of their life, whether good or bad (the implication is definitely negative though). A stoner is just someone who regularly gets stoned... on anything. Someone just doing things to get stoned would care less about outside responsibilities and be less productive overall.

I'd rather be a pothead than a stoner... but just "smoker" would be a much more appropriate label for many people!

Well, i never gave a shit about school, so i was a pothead, but i can do my job perfectly well and be stoned at the same time, so now im more of a stoner.

I'd say I'm a stoner along with everyone else here (well most) my definition is a stoner is someone who smokes weed, and a pothead is like someone who smokes but gives the weed community bad rep.
