:rasta: I just started growing a white rhino plant well 2 of them and i made the mistake by placing 2 seeds close together and now 2 plants are growing side by side....is that bad? how do i fix if so?:rasta:

Are you growing them outside? How big are they? How old are they?

Marijuana establishes quite the vast root system - It's generally not a good idea to have two plants in the same pot or really close to eachother because it causes root entanglement.

However! There are a few members on this board whom I've learned do this purposefully just so they can later cut out the weaker/less attractive plant out of the two.

when I used to use 'free' bag seeds, I always planted two to a pot, and after a few days, would snip off the inferior of the two, just cut it at soil level ... you should do the same, when they grow up a bit ... if they are far enough apart, you 'could' try to transplant one, realizing it will likely die ... still, I have gotten lucky that way, too ... while in its first days, it is only sending a taproot down, few, if any, roots to the sides, so unlikely to be tangled together (yet) ... good luck :smokin:

I am not growing outside....closet.... They're about a 5 days old....I have a infra red and luminus light on them both are about 1.5 ft away..I keep tap water for 48hrs before i use it to water too....any one with advice?

yes, I got that ... makes no difference in your case, whatsoever ... BUT, if theyre both in that Jiffy pot, forget it, no way you will have working room to seperate them, just snip one off ... :smokin:

I've gotten word that at this point the plants roots are moving straight down and that a possible seperation is plausable

I think you need to get better lighting. Cos for 5 days they look terrible, i mean, really bad.

At this point i would kill them both and start again.

Id advise you to get some CFL lights, or at least add them to your set up.

ANd the lights dont need to be far away, infact, get everything as close as posible [make sure its not too hot for the plant] cos then you dont waste lumens..
