so last night i went out and bought a squirrelcage fan and set it up.. says that it will clear out 300 cubic feet per minute.. ( i think that my room is smaller than that.. )
so i hooked up one end of the dryer hose to the fan, and the other end through the ceiling and onto the hood of my light...
when i put my hand up to the hold on the hood where it is sucking i can feel decent suction,
but when i power on the light, in less than 10 mins gets to nearly 100 degrees F...
pisses me off, spent freaking 90 bucks on the fan and still doesnt do what i want..
i even cut a hole in the ceiling of my rented place to make it work, and still way too hott....
any idea's anyone..?????
home depot had those small window A/C units on sale for about 90 bucks, should i get one of these?
now there is not a window any where near my closet, so i can't hang it out a window, would it be okay to just set it at the base of the door on maybe a couple of crates.?
i really need somem help controlling the temp in there, so any input is greatly appreciated...

**** 1st and 2nd pic are from ontop of the ceiling, and looking in through the hold i cut in the ceiling..

3rd and 4th are just other pics from normal point of view.
