Is there any chance?
I've never cultivated weed in my life, until very recently. I wanted to request some advice the pros to make sure I'm doing it correctly, here's my story.
I got some bud one day and found a lot of seeds in it, about 20 or 25. I decided then I'd just go dig a whole, drop them in it, cover it back up and water them, so I did. I looked up a bit more and realized that probly wasn't a very intelligent decision. So then, I dug it back up (Unfortunately it'd recently rained, so it was all clumped up, and I could only find one seed.), got the one seed (Was it healthy? It was lightish green), and put it in distilled filtered tap water for one night. The next morning, I dug a little 3 inch hole and broke up the soil, put some broken up soil back into the hole, stuck the seed with the pointy side up in there, and covered the rest. The seed is about a half inch away from the surface. I might sound stupid for asking, but is 1/2" a half inch or a half foot? I thought it symbolized inches, so planted it a half an inch or so deep. Then, I got a good 3/4 of a liter of filtered tap water, and sprinkled it around the growing site.
The soil is still broken up, and this was all done just today. I'm sure it probably won't be very good dope, being it's cultivated outdoors without focused light, and I don't know if I'm supposed to have male and female seeds.gjpop2000 Reviewed by gjpop2000 on . Green seeds are generally more on the "premature" side - they take a bit longer to germinate from my experience. (granted it's not much, a pro will come in here and clean things up I'm sure.)
I've definitely grown them into healthy plants, though!
Btw, a half foot would be 6 inches and it would make the plant's life quite difficult
Don't be afraid to ask anything here, I apologize for sandman and anything else he might say in advance.
LOL, jk.
But seriously.

Good seeds are brown and meaty!
A good way to check and see if your seeds are good, is to roll them between your thumb and index finger. Apply a very small amount of pressure over time, but not enough to break them. (they can usually take abuse, but don't test your luck) If you hear any crackling whatsoever, toss it.
I toss all of the seeds I don't want into a tin and make cannabutter with them.
