I don't mind em, im an angry person, i listen to music like slipknot, korn, SOAD ect. But i still think Hippys have it right, almost tho. I don't think they should be happy and shit while trying to bring peace. We need anger, get that rage and make the world a better place. Fight them fire with fire. No convincing the goverment, and theres only one way we can make this world a better place, and that is to fight.

Im gonna turn into a hippy. When my clothes get tatty, instead of buying new ones, Im gonna tye-dye them all so I look like an LSD trip. When I move out, all my veg is gonna be grown by me, and also any leftovers will be handed out to the neighbours. Each year Ill have a big gathering where we all get stoned, jam with guitars and have a huge feast.
Im gonna start walking barefoot like Michael Franti aswell. Like he says, you should always know where youre walking - both literally and figuratively.

Didn't hippies spit on soldiers that came home from Vietnam? It's one thing to have feelings on an event...but to spit on the people that are protecting your freedom? Eck. I've heard a few stories like this, and it makes me sick.
Other than that, hippies are alright I guess. I wouldn't want to be one though.

i worked with a stereotypical hippy...at least she was, on the outside. she was actually one of the most awful human beings i've ever met, i wonder how someone can embrace the hippy lifestyle and still be such a bitch. it was funny though, to see how someone who was labeled a hippy try so hard to climb the corporate ladder

isn't that an oximoron?? i'm guessing she didn't make it too far... no hippie I know would ever work for a corporation much less try to advance to the top of it...

i mean, i'm just saying she looked the part, she didn't embrace the hippy way of thinking i don't think. real hippies i love...some of the best people you'll ever meet
