JUST RECEIVED SEEDS FROM DR.CHRONIC! NEWB QUESTION!

hey i just received 20 seeds from dr.chronic, 10 white widow and 10 northern lights..
now this is going to be my first grow to ever do, and want to know someones opinion that has a little more experience than myself on the best way to germinate these little bitches.
i tried germinating in the glass and putting on top of fridge and nothing never happened w/ those, ( maybe i did something wrong )..

anyways i have got my room all setup Mylar everywhere, and wrapped all cords in alluminum.
using a mh switchable to HPS 1000w ballast, with both hps and mh bulbs..
big ass reflector, air cooled..
not sure if i might have to go out and buy like a 50 watt fluourex light ( think that is what it is called ) or if my light will work?
also , should i use superthrive w/ them while germinating , or any other type of nutrients?
maybe some root stimulant, and if so do you have any good brands?
any help would be great, just want to have a great grow w/ these....
got to get a memory card for camera, and when i get it ( probobly friday, payday ) i am going to post some good pics, so be looking out for me!

I had to read through 39 pages of posts to get back up to speed before I even registered here, been out of the game awhile myself, I read a paper on mustard and bramble bush that a 5-10min soak in a 3% (60-140f temp)thiocarbomide solution works wonders for germination(95%rate), I may try it and post the results when I germ next, since I have a half pound of it here.

Funny you mentioned thiocarbomide solution, I just got another gallon of that yesterday. Its gettin damn hard to find nowadays.

ok. paper towel method.

Get a papertowel. wet it so its damp. fold it in half. put seeds inside. place this paper towel on a plate. cover it with plastic wrap loosly. let it all sit in room tempertature DARK place. check on them a few times a day.

once u see the tap root. take tweesers and place it in a beer cup or something full of dirt. tap root facing down. place it about 1/2 inch down. or so. then water beer cup.

I get my thiocarbomide in pure crystal, Easy to find in my profession. I never had problems with the paper towel method since my better half keeps them wet, I always forget! Doh!
