Higher than yesterday?

Two nights ago I smoked a lot (like a dimes worth) with my friend and was pretty blitzed, but the next day (yesterday) I invited 2 friends over to smoke what my friend left me (half a dime) and it was hard to share that much, so we took out this really small pipe I had

and we had to split it evenly between us three.

Anyway long story short: the high was much stronger than when I smoked it 2 nights ago. Why is that? It's the same weed. It's been in my pocket and I sat on it a lot. I was expecting it to suck but it was so strong that I was nearly shrooming!
It was like weed from halfbaked where we all coughed like hell after the first hit. This didn't happen the first night cause we used a bong.

We were laughing so hard that one of us fell on the floor just dying!
I had to quickly unplug the rice steamer in case anything would happen to us!
We had uncontrollable laughter and we were shaking so hard it was intense. I Don't think I've ever been this high in my life! And it was all off a really small single bowl.
Why did we get so crazily baked?

if you smoked lots previous to the day you smoked that dime...and than didnt smoke at all until yesterday, than your tolerance would be kinda lower. But im not sure.
