My setup/plan first time indoor, Skunk#1

This is my first time growing indoors and i wanted to post here to see if my system has any flaws,Ive got 6 plants. First of all, as far as the soil goes I wasnt real sure but i used 1/2 regular potting soil with sand and perlite and some organics and, 1/2 Miracle grow enriched potting mix (18-6-12), threw package reccommed amount of blood and bone meal and let set for 1 week, For lighting im using 2 250 watt Flourescent lights for vegative growth on 24hours then eventually 18/6. they are in a 5 square foot box. after i can tell male/female im going to transplant (reccomend soil for me to use then). after transplant im using 150 watt HPS light for each little lady. i know i need more than that but im near broke and thats the best i can afford, im going to cover the inside with aluminum foil (dull-side out) hopefully then the 150 will do (they are going to be in indivdual home made closet type growing space). I am going to top because of the lack of vertical room.

I also had another thought, many people complain about light not reaching the lower leaves and i was wondering if i could maybe put a low power flouro on each side of the plant along with the 150 HPS at the top for all around light or will it not work?

Lemme know what you think oh and also, reccomend fertilzer i planned on using bat shit

I am pretty shuresoft is bad, just look at the spectrum on it, it says on the details. full spectrum is fine, or red and blue are good i herd.

One thing I wouldnt transplant the plant right during the flowering stage. It would add a lot of undue stress at such a crucial time. Not sure about the soil, but your lighting would be good enough I am sure. Once you switch to the HPS just put the fluros you used more towards the bottom to give the fan leaves light. Also dont use aluminum foil to line the walls. White painted walls will actually reflect more light and they wont heat up like the foil will.

mylor is the best though, but it costs money, and if you have white walls, put a coat of clear gloss ontop of the paint to enhance the reflected light.

i can recommend gettin soil from a grow shop, its by bio-bizz called ALL-MIX,its 20% sphagnum peat moss-35% garden peat-10% organic worm manure-30% perlite and 5% pre-mix.it cost £13 for a 50 litre bag,the same company has a wide range of fertilisers and so on thats made specifically for that soil mix.check out there site @ www.biobizz.com
heres a pic of the soil and complete veg growth fert i have beside a small bottle of anti-pest spray for your leaves,im growin for my first time from seed and im well chuffed with the quick progress usin this organic growth system
