    AVI to DVD format

    You don't need a network. You just have to be able to install the software on both machines.

    The avs are storyboard cells I drew a couple years ago for a movie I intended to make but never did.

    Do they suck or what? I hope you hate them.

    how does software on 2 different machines connect to transfer??? What am I missing?!!? Do they transfer files over the internet??? 5 gigs is alot of data to transfer if its over the net...


    Now that you mention it, I do hate them, they suck! You musta been high when you came up with the storyboard idea.....

    Just do it. They are transfered over the internet and it will take awhile but it's automatic.

    If you're pcs use the same router they are on the same network, and you can simply transfer files with usb or firewire. Not too hard to google.

    If both your pcs are hijacking from the same router, they are on the same network. You could try an ftp server: http://www.download.com/Cute-FTP-Hom...ml?tag=lst-4-1
    Most people don't have a usb-a to usb-a cord, but if you do, I think it is drag-n-drop easy. It would look like this: http://www.vpi.us/images/usb-link-cable.jpg
    I don't understand why you think transfering 5 GB over the internet would be a lot. Are you slightly noobish? I just don't understand.
    The ftp should be easy to do.

    slightly noobish?? lmao, sorry that im not as savy but to use the word noob is just fuckin rude!! If you cant understand how I might have trouble then you sir are a noob....

    My other computer isnt hijacking anything, this computer is my internet connection or I would already be doing something along those lines. Im gonna look into that male-male usb cable though, thanks man
