Which brings up the question, "Why can't they keep the ethyl liquor...and remove the water altogether?" You'd get more drunk if it were 100% ethyl liquor. I bet it'd burn like hell though.

Probably wouldn't make much of a difference. I don't know who the hell would want to drink straight ethyl alcohol anyway. Anyway, I don't know about where you guys live, but here in New York you can't buy Everclear. I'm pretty sure the strongest proof of liquor that can be legally sold here is 151 (i.e. Bacardi 151 rum).

Ethanol molecules are extrodinarly polar, and are attracted to water (H2O). It's almost impossible to have 100% ethel alcohol because water will be so attracted to it, that in moments you will have something like 95%.

Its not that hard. Just throw some buds in whatever you're drinking and the alch does the rest. You guys are making this a lot more complicated than it is.
