Help me become better at pickin up tha ladies

Every situation is unique. Each woman responds to things differently. Looks can determine which strategy needs to be used, but you could just stick with one, or you could try any of them. It's like the lottery: you can pick one number and stay with it, but it technically doesn't increase your chances of winning.
There are at least a few dozen distinct ways to get a woman to respond to you, and in short term relationships, a fast response is what's wanted. You don't want to spend weeks courting a woman when all you want is sex. If she seems like she's interested in you, but she needs time to think about you, forget it.
As for a couple different strategies, there aren't very many that most guys don't know. Most have used all of them at least once. If you know a few that you're good at, but have tried them all and failed, that doesn't mean they're bad; it just means you tried them on the wrong woman. Your strategy of seeming to be funny to Hot girl #3 may not have worked at all, but it could work on thousands of others.
You could try four different techniques on four different women and get no results, and chances are you just needed to try the technique of one on one of the other three women.
If you think you don't know all of the strategies, ask other guys you know what they usually try. I can't name them all, but off the top of my head I can describe a few:
Make a few jokes and laugh when she laughs. Make a few jokes but keep a serious tone, which I think is called deadpan comedy. Be controlling: In a long term relationship this would obviously be bad, but in a short term, it can attract women. Some women like the feeling of being controlled a little. Instead of suggesting where to go, tell her where you guys are going. Be aloof: This may be more difficult with women you don't know, but if you know how to, go for it. Start an argument: this one may not appeal to many chicks at all, but if you can get this to work on a girl, you may have found a very unique person, and may actually want to be with her for a long time.
You could try all of these and fail, but like I said before, you'd just be using them on the wrong women.
Oh I forgot one: Confuse her! Say something in a quit voice, then when she asks you to repeat, say something that phonetically sounds a lot different. You might want to try this one because it's not just fun for the women, it's fun for you.

That is not true, man. Woman are just as interested in "something else" as men are. Sure, there are some who want relationships, but more often than not, woman are just as likely to dig a one nighter as me. Do you really think the ladies who frequent the clubs, and bars, are looking for Mr. right? I don't think so, they're looking for a good time just like everyone else that plays dress up, and goes to these places.

Age isn't that big of factor when it comes to sexual encounters, man! How old are you, Graph? I'm 35, and know first hand that some woman like sex, and shun relationships as much as I do. Its been like this this highschool, you just gotta know how to pick them, and separate the prudes from the one that are simply looking for a good time.

If you want a woman for sex then hit the clubs, and honky tonks, and if you want relationships...go to the bookstore, library, church, etc...

God, if I were you, I'd start hitting the clubs, man. Either that, or give your self as a living sacrifice to one of the bookstore prudes.

(Of course there's some bookstore babe's that would surprise you)

The latter is probably the better option unless you're 'just' looking for sex, though.
