Now because of this idiot I'm definately gonna have to wait until I move to grow, I thought it might've been ok with my mom but now that this fool got caught she thinks I'll get caught too. They say that sudden high wattage use alerts police for growing operations but this guy was growin like 85 plants, I'll only be growin like 4 to 2 at a time. Anyone notice a light bill difference?

Thats pretty gay man, but as long as you make sure you deal with the heat, you shouldnt get caught, I mean, your only gunner have a 250 - 400 watt lamp. It's not like you need a few 1000 watters. I doubt you'd get caught. Maybe use CFL's, they wont make any differnce really, actually, better. Try and get envirolights.

WOW... damn sorry to hear that.... no big spike in my electricity bill using a 400w HID... maybe about $20-$25 more per month running 24/7

A good rule of thumb is that if you keep it to one 1,000 watt per bedroom in the house it's pretty much unnoticable. Seeing as your going to using a 400w anyways I wouldn't worry about it at all, I don't and thats what I have....

Yes, I plan to use 400w always for flower but maybe 400w's of MH or 250w's for vegitative.

Orangeman, you don't even need MH for vegetative.

High Kelvin CFL work great to veg a plant; then to reduce any stress it may get from going to low Kevlin [ HPS ] light you could try a week worth of low Kelvin CFLs to butter it up for the HPS.

Cheap and efficient, I say.

Yeah it's worth risking it when I know I'm not gonna get caught. Rather people disagree or not my outlook on people getting caught is that they get too greedy. I'm not a greedy fucker, shit, the yield I'd get from 1 plant would satisfy me! but I have no regret, I just have a grudge. I dont find anything wrong with growing marijuana at all. It's just a plant that produces harmless flowers, it's America and the rest of the shit-witless Countries that give it a bad name.
