whats the cause of missing leaves? i got about 7 plants growing outdoors. all about a month n 1/2 old. everything seemed like it was going good but i noticed some of the second and third set of leaves on 3 plants are missing. im thinking its the bugs right? I heard using insect killer isnt good for the plants, so what do i do?

Missing leaves
If the leaves are completely missing, it might be something bigger than bugs, maybe chipmunk or ground squirrel? bugs usually leave traces (like partly eaten areas, plus you'd see the bugs, they dont hide from you). If you do see bugs, use very diluted soap and water and spray it on, the bigger critters however you are at their mercy unless you fence the area or maybe take a piss around the area of the plants (not on them!) I dunno, but sounds like a furry critter, I had a chipmunk kill 6 seedlings in one night before, they just disappeared...

Make a wall or better yet, get come chicken fense, dig a trench all the way around it and burny it. About 2 foot deep. This may not stop the rabbits from digging under though.
It's one of them things that are really difficult to do.
If it is bugs then its curable by sparying a diluted soapy solution.

ok heres what you do get some small anti personal mines (u can find them ebay google etc...) burry about 50 2 feet deep about 15 yards from the plant in a circle around the grow site so that way when a. rabbits, b. deer, c. humans and d. cops try and get at your grow there feet get blown off (THIS REALLY WORKS!) i heard they do this in vietnam! also if you want to go hitech you can get a sniper rifle and night vision goggles and camp out at night in a tree by the grow (make sure u have night vision on) then when the little rabbit come in just blow its head off.
