Normally I don't post, because I prefer to "lurk" as some of you woud put it. I normally prefer just to read the various posts but something has happened that has compelled me to post.

Yesterday was the senior's last day of high school (I am a junior), and they thought it would be funny to take up multiple parking spots by parking horizontally across mutiple spots. My brother parked horizontally as well because our spot was being blocked. The dean fixed all of this but while he was out there he claimed he "peeked in" and saw something in our car (a carton of Natural Light in the trunk). Now our car has 5% tint on all of the windows except the windshield and front two windows which have 15% tint. So it would be impossible for him to see anything.

After school he called us and questioned us about the presence of any substances in our car and then asked to search our car (every student signed a form allowing them do this) and while there he found alcohol and about 20 grams of shwag in our car, along with a very expensive bubbler, 2 pipes, and a lot of other paraphernalia (pen tubes for any emergencies, pill bottles - one of which had a roach in it, etc.). Upon seeing the marijuana, the two cops who hang around school called narcotics. The detective from narcotics charged us with possession of paraphernalia and marijuana.

They have asked us to leave the school, so now we must transfer to another school, but it is different from expulsion because it won't go on our record. Since I am 16 the charges will only be misdemeanors and our court date will probably be some time at the end of the summer. At the moment I do not know what to do. My parents knew about my drug use and didn't care as long as I kept up my grades (which I did very well). All I am looking for is advice, I would be grateful for any. Thanks.

A car full of goods and you do this? Bad move. Live with the consequences and call it a lesson learned.

Lesson Learned bud, be more carefull in the future, especially with bud in the car. Whenever i have bud in the car i drive the speed limit and do everything possible not to get caught, do the same and you will have no problems.

Actually, it seems like only the senoirs were participating in the shenanigens, and the only reason why they parked sideways as well was so they would have a spot to park in as well.

Yeah,it was a dumb move,how about doing 80 miles an hour in a school zone while toking on a bong,you shouldn't get caught if no one is looking...

dude... i just gotta know... why were y'all so stupid to take that to school? let alone stupid enough to leave it all in your car like that? i just dont get it, it makes no sense!

well, that sucks man. but i can tell you the best thing, espically if your parentsl already know you toke up and dont mind, leave it at home unless its necesary to have it on you. i personally leave anything and everything i know i dont need at home, always obey traffic laws(even if no one is around), and keep it on you or even in a locked box in the car. ive started keeping a small safe in the spare tire compartment in my trunk. personally i have never been caught with anything by police thanks to ^above stated^ and espically to www.flexyourrights.org

i think id probably still be in jail if i didnt know about flex your rights, helped me prevent officers from searching my car twice when i had between a quarter and 3oz (premium bud) in the car.
