I don't think it matters. Isn't it ironic to hate someone who hates themselves? Emo kids just want attention. If I see them I walk up to them and simply say,
"Cheer up emo kid!"

Ha ha.

I guess an advanced stage of emoitis consists of cutting themselves which appears to be an increasing trend.

Emo must be a progression of goth. Goth music consists of bauhaus, the cure, siouxsie & the banshees--all music I like.

What are some emo bands? Radiohead? They seem pretty emotional.

The closest I ever got to dressing like a rebel was when break dancing came out (mid 80's) Parachute pants and Thriller jacket. You gotta love rebels/punks. They push the boundries of our freedom.:stoned:
