Sprouting in Darkness?
I was just wondering if it was possible for me to sprout a germinated seed indoors in the dark and then after i sprouted it i would put it outside. I heard that you could do this but i wasnt sure if it was true.

Sprouting in Darkness?
Yes, your meant to sprout seeds in the darkness. Then as they get their cotyledons you put the light on. The best bet with out doors is to get yourself some high wattage CFL lights. Then grow the seedlings inside for about 2 weeks. Then put them outside and they'll be a bit bigger and be able to stand more things like wind rain droplets and other stuff.

the first two leaves that apear they are what stores food in the seed and that is why you dont need to give your plants any thing in its first two weeks of life.
