who say's money dont grow on tree's
you dont even KNOW how my system works, Junkyard, as i have not yet outlined anything, only given brief glimpses of fragments of the whole.
not right now, as i am DEAD tired and cant sleep (i'll be posting elsewhere soon) but the general idea is to make everything usable to everyone.
for example, you want a new couch. you can either try to barter for it, and bartering does not disclude physical labor, just FYI-given your farm example, or you can learn how to make it yourself. it's not that hard, but other things, like a TV would be a most difficult process, as one would have to learn a lot about cybernetics and plastics, among other things, but it's not impossible. you would then go to a factory and build your TV yourself.
yes, there is the maintainance factor, and people would have to routinely check and fix things, but i can see them as either being hired, and given special little badges that say "i eat for free" or something OR you would be required to perform these duties prior to using the machines.
overall, it revolves around teaching everyone everything about everything everyone can be taught about.
so that anyone can do any job.
people dont have specific jobs, they come and go as they please.
go to a restraunt and do some cleanup, make some food, and eat.
sure, i can see money still having a use, but it will not DOMINATE the world, and in fact will be worth less than physical labor, and not a real form of currency, but something along the lines of trade, most likely import-export related.
graph...
i would if i could but i cant so i wont.
i aspire to, believe me, and if i can get a chance to work on a farm, i am there, but i have not had such opprutunities knocking at my door in a while... make that ever.
although my uncle's friends have a sort of farm, i am half tempted to talk to them about letting me help out, and half shying away cuz i dont want to impose on my uncle's friends, THOUGH im sure they would love to have me around to help out.
next time i am down there, i intend to talk to them.
oh, and for the record, i dont own any computers, nor do i actually pay any money for anything.
i dont earn a paycheck, so i am not contributing in any way other than the fact that i do spend what money my dad gives me for food (hey, i gotta eat, cut me some slack eh?).
