    nonviolent ant removal

Any of you cool hippies out there know what to do? I have kind of an infestation, but I don't wanna squash 'em.:rasta:

Actually I tried that for a little while but then I realized 1) it wasn't helping, 2) I felt guilty, 3) ants don't bother me outside, so why should inside be any different? They have the same right to life as me.

So for a while not caring was working, but they do get kind of annoying in here, especially when I'm lying in bed at night getting tickled and I lift up my shirt and there's a little guy crawling on my belly lol. So coexistence is working out for the time being, sort of, but I feel like they would be happier outdoors anyway you know, so how do I return these guys to there home???

I'd agree with you, except that an ant's sole purpose is to eat your well-valued food, and annoy the hell out of you. Picture it: you vs. the ant. You're minding your own business, and an ant decides to climb the relative fifty miles up to your neck and bite you while his family nonchalantly devours your picnic.

Is Raid ant spray nonviolent enough?

Well, you said non-violent. So much for an M-80 down the ant burrow. Here, we have fire ants. While I agree all creatures have the same rights to life as we do, I have no love for fire ants. Bleach down the mound does wonders.
...I said my piece, so now, I hush.

Hey, if a bear's about to make a sandwich out of my ass, I'd excercise my right to explode his face.

    lol.

None of the ants have bit me or anybody else, they're a relatively nonviolent form of ants  All they do is tickle you.

Fire ants sound like they suck; the ones around here aren't too bad. They ARE probably after the food though.

Well they've been invading my house every summer for the past every since I lived in my house (I know that didnt just make sense but meh, lol). So I dont have any mercy for them..I take a inscent with my trusty lighter and light it...take a hit of the joint and burn them "GAH!" Then I leave them there so the dead's fellow colleagues can see it and see that I set an example that it's dangerous to invade my fuckin room!

i had this problem recently too man, think its cause of the heat. Under my couch are all kinds of goodies that they were gettin into. For starters clean everything really really well, even go as far as to steam clean. Then try and find out how they are gettin in, mine were gettin through a tiny crack in the window sealent. I killed alot though, maybe 50-100, but its cause the thought of them all over me when i was sleepin didnt sit right with me. Good luck!

Well, you can do what Ozzy Osbourne did.. That'd definitely get rid of a few of them.

they can be a pain...you can try ant traps and stuff but if it's a true "infestation".. well... you might wanna look into something a little more premanent than ant traps..
Good luck, i'm sure they're more of a pain than a problem...

All i can say is be glad they're not bullet ants.
