I could be wrong; I have not looked into the new bulbs. I just quoted my past experience from memmory
Not sure, i was under the impression that it was high lumen, right spectrums.

Like i said, i dont know. But, it would be interesting to know, because they're cheaper than HPS.

    Low pressure sodium?

Ok fellows,I just found some invaluable info on this low pressure deal.I was looking through a website, and somebody asked this very question, and the answer is no,you can't grow cannabis with low pressure sodium.Low pressure sodium lights put out light that is unusable by plants. It also says that your plants can die if you use only low pressure on them,oh well I guess I have to fork out the big bucks for a high pressure.Oh yeah, and anbody ever tried to use metal hallide for flowering instead of hps?I would love to know what the diff is.PEACE

    Low pressure sodium?

MH lights are the other end of the spectrum of the lps lights. They still do not have the proper color spectrum. They are at the other end and will produce more heat then you want as well.

Sorry but we only use a small spectrum of light 2700k and 6500k are the usable spectrum the plants will grow best under.

That means CFL that is the low end but it's best to use HID lights.

Nope, most people use MH for vegitative and HPS for flowering, good think about the Optilux is it allows HPS and MH in the same system so you dont have to buy two different light systems.
