Unfortunatly I do not know of any method that preseves the potency of vintage marijuana. The gland on top of the the trichome grows brittle and will not burn after it ages to a certain extent, so then you have the stalk left over which is half the thc making the weed less potent. Certain hormones (for those of you who have access to labs) can prolong the life of the glands and possibly support the gland and aid it's thc making after the death of the plant! I don't know anything about these hormones thogh. However, I encourage you all to try and preserve the buds of haze or australian bush or NATIVE SOUTH AMERICAN cannabis. These all have similar characteristics to Haze. Haze is a very peculiar strain, some don't even call it weed. It has a tweeked genetic makeup and might have some undiscovered harmful side affects (be careful). I say this because I recently smoked some Haze that was at least 18 years old and it was more potent than anything I've every smoked, and I have smoked a whole bunch of weed. Haze may contain such hormones.

Last fall I wall using the Cleveland Medical Clinic's facilities to conduct experiments of a similar nature. I was using essential oils (which don't burn well at all) to flavor and cover the hashy smell of indica leaves so as to make them hypoallergenic for one, and give them a sativa/exotic smoke. I learned that if you find an essential oil or extract you can leave it in it's container open in a closed jar with your bud to give it such an aroma. But, it's kinda like a cigar in that the actual taste fades dramatically once ignited. Try rubbing oils, extracts, or even actual fruits on your blunt wraps for such a result.

Keep growin, "if you kids can't make it who can?"
i got u mate, thanks very much!

dont have to feel like that mate, u're helpfull NOT stupid

we want to store it in the earth, we will dig some holes and deposit it there in some big plastic boxes but what how should we pack the weed so it wont get dryed at all and it will stay like we put it there ?

I burried some money once but I lost it, I don't advise putting it in the ground because it seems like too much of a hassle and you may leave there throughout the winter. you wanna store it where you can access it quickly but nobody could find it. I have an unfinished attic and I just leave my stash in hidden in the insulator fluff. Do you really want to have to dig up your stash? Sounds cool but is impractical. Problems you may encounter are dogs, worms, roots, police dogs, flooding, acid rain/corrosive chemicals washed into the ground, and your memory. lol:stoned:

while canning you should open the jar to change the fruit if there is any or to allow fresh air and humidity in. If you burry them you cant open the jar/box whenever. Use glass airtight jars I posted a link above to show you an example (post 638).
