i did this exact method last weekend, it works like a charm, but you need alot of weed ,like a couple a oz's will only get you a gram of oil, but its really potent. and yea after you can use 99% pure isopropyl to purifie the oil,

Yeah , 1 drop of iso in the end is a little secret that I wasnt going to put up. It really clears it up and makes it look golden. and yes, very very potent.
