Of course not off of 250 watts -- you'd be lucky to get eight ounces from two trained plants under that.

Personally, I don't even think anyone could even get six ounces from six plants under a 250. They're all sharing like.. 28,500 lumens. And then only the plants immediately under the light would be the superior producers unless you had a light mover.

But for a 250? I'd only use a light mover for a big multi kilowatt operation.

we are gonna be starting 9 seeds under a 400w mh then once they get into flowering stage put them on the hps and pull the males once we know, so we are talking about 3-4 plants under a 400w hps...is that sufficient??

I got over a kilo dry including stems on my White Widow that was growing for just over a year. I let it completly finish growing (veging) then when it was flowering during house move it went into the shed but sadly when I moved it in the shed the next day I found spiders (spider mites they may be called) around the buds. It was as if the plant dissolved because the bud seemed to dissapear and leave this whitish sticky stuff. When it was cut and dryed most of it was unsmokable and smelled of mold because of the hundreds of spiders that had been over it. Sad but true. Oh and that was under floros indoors and outside when sunny planted in soil in a pot.

you should be in great shape ... your 400 sodium is good for 4'x4', and you will be lighting less than that ... just keep good air circulation, ... besides cooling, the motion makes for strong stems to hold up those big buds ... :thumbsup:

Is this realistic? i have 2 plants growing under a 250 watt MH light....i hoping to get 1 oz from each?....this is also my first time.

my bad guys, 2 250hps....not one. i forgot to add the otherr 2.

but ya i said i averaged 4 ounces per plant, some got like 2.5, some 3, but a few 4 zippers.

i usually grow two small plants at a time under a 400w hps , and average about 70-80 grams dry from each plant.
