What if he did kill? What if he killed your wife, and then started for the kids? What if you could not stop him? What if he wanted to take a turn with you? Guns are not always life takers. I had a guy come in on me and my old lady, and had I not had a gun to subdue him with it more then likely would have been a lot uglier then it was. As it was, I was able to make him leave rather quickly. A naked man with a 45 will make a criminal reconsider very fast.
