Eshelmen, after you've read the content on that link, my husband said just keep in mind when you go see the doc that you'll probably want to be asking for med mj for some of the symptoms that it's traditionally prescribed for as opposed to bringing up the whole list of your ailments and asking for med mj for all of them.

That is, emphasize, perhaps, that you have nausea and vomiting with the migraines that hasn't been helped by other methods. Nausea and pain are some of the tradition, tried-and-true symptoms that most docs know can be aided by mj. Whereas bipolar and diabetes and, for that matter, sleep apnea might be reasons a doc would be hesitant to prescribe.
